Beginnings In Orange and Blue
This Watercolor is 18x18" on Ampersand cradle board. Inspired by images taken with a microscope of lobster embryos, just another way of seeing something in a state that is unfamiliar to gain a different perspective.

"Soar" Venetian Mask painting
The second mask in the series. Peacock feathers and beads adorn this woman as she looks above and wonders of what it would feel like to soar as birds, and to reach greater heights. Oil on Ampersand 16x20.

Still Life In Amber and Blue
Here is my latest Oil Painting on Ampersand Cradle Board, 16x20
I absolutely get lost in painting these reflections on colored glass. Still lifes are always a joy to paint as well as brushing up on newly learnt skills as an oil painter. Hope this brightens up your day!

"Shine" a new oil painting of a Venetian Mask
After much thought and deliberation, I have decided to start painting in Oils, using Walnut oil, and no other chemicals. This was primarily caused by my pursuit to limit my ecological footprint, but has also given me the ability to take my art to the next level. This piece has been painted on Ampersand Museum Cradle Board, which is the best and most archival surface available. The oil paints are Williamsburg, again the best paints on the market.
Inspired by Venetian masks, the subject is golden with silver, diamonds and pearls, irradiating beauty, but she is shy and not aware of her own beauty. I've entitled the piece "Shine" which is a plea to her to be comfortable with herself and the beauty that she possesses externally as well as inwardly.
